T TOP Broken...need help

All,

My driver side t top glass for my 91 turbo was shattered due to a rock from a truck. My questions is -- is it better to replace the whole thing or just have the glass cut to fit? Any suggestions are appreciated.

yeah, paying to have glass cut is patheticly expensive. i looked into it just for my side mirrors and it was 30$ a peice for the mirror alone. i bought a used set of mirrors for 60$ I think i took the better deal. that was for second gen too.

for my mki i keep like 3 extra sets of ttops in my basement just incase. maybe when you get a little extra cash you should buy a replacement set so if anything happens you're covered.

I have a set at home. I've already removed the lock cylinder, but you'd want to replace it with yours anyway which takes about 5 minutes. The are in good shape. One of the water guides has a slight bend, but it's not a huge deal. I have a price check posted now.
