Wide body kit

I have recently purchased the 13 piece widebody kit for my 91 turbo. I have seen several of these installed and just wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me:

1. What kind of adhesive seemed to work the best to permantly bond fiberglass to steel?
2. When installing the widebody kit do you loose the fenders and bumpers? meaning remove the steel ones and totaly replace them with the fiberglass onee? I am 100% sure on loosing the bumpers, just not 100% on the fenders yet. (note) i havent even taken them out of the plastic yet still working on the mechanicals of the car.

Thanks

Jim

You keep the reenforcement behind the bumbers, it actually keeps the fiberglass from being destroyed if bumped in a parking lot. You may want to fill the bumpers with some expanding foam though.

Use 3M PBA pannel bonding adhesive. FOLLOW the insructions!!! use screws to pull the rear 1/4 pannels to the body temporarily. Two days later pull the screws out and begin your bondo and FG smoothing.

You are in for DAYS of sanding.
