help me decide

Ok one more question or maybe 2 for tonight.

1. On the street how does a stock mr2 turbo hold up against your average sports car?
2. I know an mr2 turbo, stock has 200 hp but over time/miles can it lose power?

Here is the deal... there is a 3S_GTE powr primer that gives u all this information up in the top 3 topics on the forum... posted by MRQ , and this says(and it is true) that a basic tunup with changing all the fluids, new cap rotor and sparkplugs... will bring u back up to specs, and without too much modification, u can gain a 50% hp increase... for as little as 1-$2000.00... so based on this the average sportscar nowadays comes with more horsepowetr from the factory, but they usually weigh more... not to say that it the mr2's reign... there are many sportscars out there that will supply plenty of HP and Tq. to beat the Deuce... But u will pay dearly for it, and for the $$ difference, u can make the Deuce prety damn fast!!~

I would say that the car hold more then its own compared to all of the other sports cars out there on the road. I agree with Zz_005_zZ that the newer cars may have more hp but they weight alot. And most of the time their trq isnt all that high to get them off the line. Where as the MR-2 with the mid engine and rear wheel drive you can really pop off the line and then its off to the races. I would watch out for the V-8s they can be some sneaky ones out there but with a couple of upgrades the power to weight ratio is unbeatable, and you hae to know how to drive!! Yeah change the cap/ rotora nd plugs do your oil changes and clean out the ingectors from time to time and be a doctor and diagnose problems before they happen not the surgen that fixes them! Money for money i would soo say the deuce is at the top of the game vbmenu_register("postmenu_1495992", true);
