ok here we go ,
MSD 6, 6AL, 6ALN EXE.
TACH ADAPTOR PART NUMBER 8910EIS ( NOT 8910 )
tools needed :
wire cutter/stripper
phillips head screw driver
e-tape
solder
standered and metric wrenches / sockets
the coil pack nuts are 8mm
around 1 to 3 hours of your time ( do not f'in rush ) take your time and do it right the first time ...
disconnect you battey pos and neg
find a location away from heat to mount you msd box ( use the supplied vibration mounts )
do not let the tach adaptor get any where near heat look where i mounted mine , behind the passenger seat .....
thick red wire to battery positve
thick black wire to battery neg or chissis ground
disconect the positive wire on the coil pack and connect ( i think it was white ) the thin red wire from the msd box to it ,
diconect the neg wire on the coil and connect a black wire to it ( yor own wire ) run that black wire to the black wire on the tach adaptor ,
thin orange wire to the coil pos post
thin black wire from the msd box to the coil neg post ( not the black wire you ran befor )
now splice the thin red wire on the msd box to your tack adaptor thin red wire (solder them together and tape them up )
now tape off the white wire on the msd box ( not used at all )
now use you green and purple wire harness that came with your ignition , connect it to the magnetic pickup harness on the msd box ( match up the colors lol )
connect the harness ( green and purple ) to the tach adaptor harness
now reconnect your battery and start your car , your done well sort of .. dont forget to clean up you mess lol use wire looms ( wire covers) what ever to make it all look nice
DONT MIND MY WHITE WIRE ( I USED WHITE INSTEAD OF BLACK ) FOR THE TACH ADAPTOR BLACK WIRE .
