I ahve an internal waste gate on my turbo and i just recently had the turbo rebilt. The problem is that i was an idiot and didnt remmeber what way the waste gate acuator on the outide goes to close the waste gate. becuase it wont go all the way down and away from the turbo (towards the road) but the car creates boost when it is that way. but it will go all the way up (away from the road) but then i am not creating any boost and it sounds like i have a giant whistle on the back of my car. so my question is do have to shorten the acuators rod so that i can move it down foarther or could it be something else?
once i get an answer i will probably feel like an idot!
