whoa

I personally wouldn't go into the 18's on either model year of the mr2. It looks waaay too big... if u were going to go 18's on an mk2, I would do 17's in the front, and 18's in the rear if thats what u are given.... But I personally like 16's in the front, and 17's in the rear, or 17's all the way around. 215's will look small on the rear of the car but it is a good size for the front... and as far as the BOV........ Sweeeeeet.... he is giving that to you?? Awesome. I heard there were alot of problems with the HKS BOV... Which scared me from HKS BOV's... so I got the Greddy S. Plus I am not too sure if those wheels have the same bolt pattern as yours... are they universal?

hks ssq bov is fine, greddy s isn't really a great valve, they leak. even when adjusted correctly they do not hold pressure well under big power. that said i've got one and love it but if your preformance driven it may not be the bov for you.

true

I have heard this too... However I have heard much worse for the HKS... which is why I purchased the Greddy S. Under extremely high boost pressure, they do tend to leak... 25 psi and higher. However I never plan on getting anywhere near that mark... I have done a weeks worth of studying on this topic, and all for the small 60.00 price difference in the two.
It was between the HKS ssqv, and the Greddy S. I liked the greddy sound better anyhow.
But yes u r correct that under high levels of boost they to tend to leak.

I have a friend who has run the ssq with success near the 30 psi mark, personally the sound is annoying. but to each there own, check out the new synapse synchronic bov/wastegate lines, they seem to show worth, it will be interesting to see them once ppl being to use them.

If those wheels are the same size all the way around they will be very tucked in the rear and will require a spacer. You really need to know what the offsets are as you could have clearance issues. I have 215/35-18s in the front on two of mine and that tire is like a rubber band. It will make for a rough ride and if the roads are not good where you live, you could easily end up with a bent rim.
