What parts are you looking for?
Is it really worth the hassle of dealing with a company in another country?

Keep it simple, deal with US dealers ... it's a lot easier

nobody makes parts for the 3rd gen 3sgte in the us. every part i have ordered on this car engine wise i had to order directly from japan. so it does not matter.

What part is it?

... just another reason I am not thrilled about having "jdm yo" parts.
Your patience is a lot greater than mine

i would like there cams, intercooler, valve springs, exhaust. whatever they offer, i would like to have. because no one in the states represents phoenix power. i would like to do so. be the only one with those parts, or the very few at least.

I have a friend in Japan who could probably help. We both met with Phoenix Power when I was in Japan back in January for the Tokyo Auto Salon. You'll pay a premium for some of the Phoenix Power stuff and I would personally recommend other options for some of the stuff you are looking to find. I have several Gen 3s and am pretty adept at finding parts for them, but as Jeff said, a fair amount of patience is required.

I would never mess with those JDM part/tuners, etc. Its not worth the time or money and there no better than anything that can be fab'd/ordered here in the states by the local tuners. Some think because its a J-Tuner it has special HP capailities. The motors run on spark, fuel and compression here too. I guess unless you have unlimited cash flow, then go for it. Its kinda cool to have things that knowone else has, but IF you delevop a problem, gooooooood luck!

ok, i see your point, but when you have a 3rd gen 3sgte and all the parts you order for your engine has to be special ordered then it does not really matter. if i had a 2nd gen, then i would go all hks or something.
