Spoilers

For all of you mr2 owners that have an aftermarket spoiler.....where the heck did u put the antennae?u know the one for the radio that goes up automatically... After looking and having no success in finding the Aerospeed spoiler... I saw a bunch of really nice spoilers that have no hole for the antennae...I kinda like the 98' oem jdm spoiler... but there is no way I would wanna cut a hole into that!!

u have to shave the antenna or get a 94+ stock one..they are shorter and sit flush with body since 94 spoiler is one piece...

You can run a rubber Fuba style antenna and or run it to the roof. I took a Fuba and bolted it to the inside of the rear trunk. The reception seems to be as good. Its just a "for now" fix until I run a line to the roof.

Hmm

Thats brilliany...But I am trying to understand what u mean by shaved... is this hacking off the original peice... covering it, painting over it, and running a new line with a small 3" antennae in the trunk.... and the reception is as good?
