Strange Clutch Issue on 91T

I replaced my master cylinder and slave cylinder as I thought one was bad when I couldn't shift into gear while the car is running. After they were replaced I started the car and I was able to shift. Then after I drove the car and shut it off and tried to drive it again I was not able to shift. Thinking that maybe there was still air in the lines, I bled the system again. Again the car shifted fine when I started it. I drove it and shut it off and restarted it only to find that I couldn't shift it into gear again. Then I repeated the process yet again and got the same results. Does anyone have any ideas of what is wrong?

Have you tried ANY gear? Does it grind trying to get into gear (1st, I presume)?

It grinds in all gears. Basically it seems that the clutch is not disengaging fully. The question is why does it do this only after I drive the car each time I bleed it? I can't see any leaks and rechecked all fittings.

Check the link below, if a MR2 the master clutch cylinder may require some effort to bleed.

yes bench bleed is a must if you didn't do it...

if you did... aslong as your trans shift normally when the car is off it is not a trans (internal) issue

then you have a clutch issue... and you mis diagnosed the problem... maybe bad pressure plate... how long have you had the clutch...?

some more info please and if you didn't bleed find out how and do it... very important cause if you try to long to push dry pistons you will tear seal inside and your new master cylinder is now your old master cylinder

Yes, I bench bled the master cylinder. Is it possible to bleed the system enough to get the clutch to work and then it stop working due to air in the system? I have never seen this happen. Again, I can get the clutch to work great. Then it stops being able to shift after I drive the car and then shut it off. I don't see evidence of leakage anywhere.

No, there seems to be no visible change to fluid level.
