Dump pipe fitting

hey guys,
i went to the exhaust place to get my ne dump pipe put on and they said they couldnt it was illegal.......... coz the cat would have to removed for the pipe to fit...........im in aus and u need cats here what do i do.............i could get another cat put on further down the exhaust.......

No tech will touch that-unless he's your best friend or something. it's illegal here in the U.S. too. I suggest you do it youself. it's not that hard. Just time consuming. Or take your own suggestion and add a cat after the down pipe. That would kinda suck though..do it yourself...you can do it..!!!
