hey im new to toyotas as u guys can tell n i have a quick prolly easy question 4 ya'll i have a n/a 91 mr2 what is the motor called in that? n my second question is the n/a motor turbo well?

I will give a few things to help you out. On the second gen mr2 there were three motors made for the car. 3sge(2.0 DOHC N/A) 3stge(2.0 DOHC Twin Entry Turbo) 5sfe(2.2 DOHC N/A). Most likely you have the 5sfe none turbo motor. That motor a gas saver and isn't turbo'd stock.

However it is very expensive to do, At least the right way... this has been a topic for quite a while. But the best way is to buy a rear clip of a turbo car from Chico race works. You can turbocharge the 5sfe motor but I think you need the 3SGTE head. none the less... here are some ideas for ya....
