stiff gas pedal..

wassup fellazzzz.. anyone here ever had this experience? i was driving my 92 mr2 and i noticed that the gas pedal was stiff.. is this normal??

yep...

i've had it...

its comes and goes... haven't had it in awhile so i never pursued it.

prolly a binding throttle cable. its a long long cable plus its in two pieces...

thanx bro!! but u wouldnt know how much to get it done do u? im spendin this 3 day weekend to get all the problems out of the way... again, im tryin to get all the mods done before valentines day... already got the rims/tires on the way!!

you'd pay about 70.00 for diagnosis... the cables are expensive. your looking like 300.00 for everything saying that is the problem... and thats max price. a bracket could be loose and just need to be tightened...

Try some WD-40 on the cable wherever you can see it. Like on the throttlebody and the cruise control junctions. Couldn't hurt and won't cost but alittle spray
