Aug 2 MR2 meeting - Shannonville

Hi guys,

No one is really posting any new messages in the MR2 forum, so I thought I'd post something up. There was an MR2 meeting two days ago, on August 2nd and I went with a friend of mine in an AE86 Corolla GT-S.

The event was great, despite the fact that we showed up pratically one and a half hours late and missed a third or more, or the racing activity. The event was nonetheless fun.. Even as a spectator, such as I.

I did not count the cars in attendance but most of the cars there were MR2s. Some AW11s, and some SW20s. There was also a MA70 Supra, two Honda CRXs, a Lexus, a Porsche, and two very fast Integra Type-R's.

All I can say is that the event is definitely worth a try, even if you are a beginner. There are lots to learn from, as I had a chance to sit inside one of the Integra Type R's of http://www.hadamotorsport.com/.

The people there were extremely nice and the drivers were courtious to one another and gave each other lots of space. Overall, the event was GREAT and I had a blast just watching from behind the pit walls.
