I went to my mechanic today to see why my car was making a scraping noise, the mechanic lifted my car, and noticed that my wheel shakes, and he told me that its my bearing, I asked him how much it would be, and he told me120 w/ the new parts, along with the hub. My question is though, how much is it usually?

actually I liove in St. Lucie, and I work at stanley steemer.... we have a mechanic on call mon - sat who does work on my car for a rarely seen, and inexpensive price.....For example, he would have only charged me 25.00 to fix your wheel bearing..... plus the cost of the part...... he charges 25.00 for just about anything, unless it is extremely labor intensive.

shieet .... for 25.00 i'd say fuck it and have him do it... i get lazy sometimes and for 25.00 he can have the job...
of course i'd have to sit there and watch him the entire time... so i might as well do it myself... i'd never feel right if i didn't
