best aluminum flywheel?

I'm considering an aluminum flywheel for inertial weight reduction in my 85 MR2 project. I need one that is a bolt-in replacement for the stock flywheel (4age engine).

There seem to be multiple manufacturers of these. Which ones are recommended? I'm hoping not to pay too ridiculous of a price as well.

Any info appreciated.

Thanks!

fidanza flywheel question

Does the fidanza have a replaceable ring gear? I know the friction surface is.

Thanks!

I don't think so. If they don't advertise it then you'll prolly have to buy a whole unit.

Check out these. I have one on my Spyder. Perfect fit. Beautifully machined . I don't remember about the ring gear though. I put it on 4 yrs ago. There is some info about the ring gear in the site. read for yourself.
