MR2 Vs Z28

whats your opinion on a stock MR2 turbo racing a Z28 Camaro?

the camaro is auto and a large sound system

my MR2 is a JDM 3sgte swap

well is the Z28 stock?? what year is your 3s-gte?? if the mr2 has basic mods ( FCD removed , MBC set to 14 psi, exhaust,downpipe) then easy win for the MR2 and if the MR2 driver is a good one even better. But If you are a good driver you should be the winner.

what year camaro...?

if it has tune port injection and the driver is moderately understanding how to launch w/o loosing traction

and what the distance...? 1/4 or more?

The year will make a big difference..Even if it is an auto trans...Some of the Z's had 396 HP ! oh and be carefull...we do not discuss street racing here!

tune port is the type of air induction / fuel delivery system that came stock on some camaros... but they mixed the years and models up...

i'd go w/ the camaro aslong as he can hookup.you got power to weight in favor of the MR2 but in such a short distance i think the duece would need to alot of boost...

is the z28 an LT1 or an LS1? if it's stock for stock, as the OP stated, then the camaro will win, hands down.
