camshafts

I dont really understand the difference between each of these intake and exhaust camshafts that HKS has. So, I was wondering if anybody can help me out?

http://www.andysautosport.com/toyota...camshafts/hks/

Which is best for street and racing use?

your cam profile is the single most important mod you can make to a motor

these cams only show there lobe lifts and durations...

and there are more things to consider then those two. I'd email HKS and ask for spec cards for all those cams. or call them and ask for tech support. give them your motor specs now and what you plan to get w/ cams and they should guide you in the right way.

I talked to a guy at ATSracing and he pointed out for me to use the 264's with the stroker.

With that out of the way, now I ask what company would yall recomment for valves and what kind of angles should I get on the vavle job?

get a 3 angle valve job. it allows a decent ammount of contact surface between the valve and the seat so that is seals well, yet is angled away a little bit on either side of the contact surface for better flow.

.264 is a nice set...

now you should get the head bench tested for flow...

tell them the cam setup you have

they'll let you know how much CFM can be increase w/ a certain valvetrain
