Gen1 No Headlights

The headlights on my 85 MR2 wont turn on. The headlight units come up, but the lights dont turn on. All of the other lights work fine. Makers, blinkers, ect. The fuses for both right and left are fine and I know the HEAD relay is also working. I can't figure out where the problem is and I don't want to have to rip out my dash if its not absolutely necessary. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

The contacts on the switch are good and i tested it and it works fine. I'm lead to think it is my Headlamp Retainer relay that is the problem. Is there any way to test it.

If you can find the relay you can pull and test using a meter. There should be two contacts for the solenoid relay, the others terminals are switched on/off by its operation.
