Gen1 need power!

I have an '88 N/A aw11 mr2 mk1, i just baught a 4agze with all the ussual fixin's the swap isnt a problem, but i wanted to get some imput on the best way to squeeze 200 ponies out of it on a budget, before the swap is done i plan on adding ijz fuel rail, injectors, and fuel pump, mainly because i know they have better specs than what ive got now and i get all them for around 100 bucks which isnt bad for something temporary, but anything else you guys can help me with would be great.

the highlighted words are the first place i would look in order to make improvements. btw: i don't think more fuel is where one should look when trying to make 200 to the wheels...the 4AGZ-E is already pretty rich on the factory tune.

um...if i upgrade the the air that goes into the engine then i need more fuel to mix it with, EI more psi from the supercharger, swapping out for a turbo system, and other such things that add horsepower gains, most turbo and supercharger kits require upgraded fuel systems with highflow fuel rails and a minimum of 400cc injectors , and something like 50L/hr fuel pumps, and if im not mistaken then the 1JZ utilizes just that, its one step to a NON-FACTORY TUNE. which is the eventual goal, yea ok it runs pretty good stock. but i believe it has a far greater potential, and i would really like to see exactally what the 4AGEs and 4AGZEs can do, and id prefer a hands on approach as opposed to just drooling over $50k AE 86s $10k AE101s and frakenstiened AE 92/101s that i see in import mags, so again...as you really didnt asnwer my question with your post, is there anyone with t he technical expertise that can help me with any tricks of the trade to satiate my ever growing need for power and performance?

ok, so, if you're accusing me of not having the technical expertise to be able to do this, good luck! you obviously don't know much about these things (4AGZ-E) otherwise you would know that all of that fuel is NOT necessary at the power levels you're discussing here. i'm not discouraging you, i think you have some fandangled ideas going on, so, again, good luck! i mean, i've only been tuning and racing these things for how long now...

excuse me for the mistakes in my wording...i suppose ill have to speak more specifically from now on, let me correct this...i will need more of both fuel and air,,, because as many people know more air + fuel equals greater combustion, i understand that there will be no imediate gain by upgrading my fuel, but im doing it because before summer im most likely removing the supercharger and placing in a twin turbo setup that will increase the ammount of air forced into trhe engine, i hope that explains what i meant

twin turbo on a 4 cylinder...?

so one turbo for two cylinders...? and you expect that lil motor to produce enough exhaust stream to spool a turbo from just two cylinders...? not likely.

unless you plan to custom design a sequencial setup which throws the term "budget" out the window and you'll prolly pay more than the car was worth when it was brand new on one single component not counting the many you'll need w/ expert mapping and tuning.

you want to make power on a budget... boost the supercharger. your gonna need a fuel management system not just bigger injectors and a rail. once you get a FMU you can have a tuner play w/ fuel maps and determine how much boost you can run on a stock fuel system.
at that point you still want more. then start upgrading fuel components. cause when its decided that you need them. you already have the FMU to control it.

power is in the tuning, not the part itself.

and abandon ever trying a twin turbo anything on any car smaller than a 6 cylinder.
