MR2 Pricing

Hey guys, I found a 1991 MR2 turbo hardtop with 67700 miles. The person is asking for $10,900. I was wondering if this price is reasonable. Since it's a hardtop I can't really find the pricing in the classified forums. Any info would help. Thanks!!!

Miles are pretty low, any mods or known problems? Its a hardtop, so they are pretty rare. I'd say talk him down a grand and call it a deal, but thats just me. GL, get it and you won't regret it.

2nd Generation

Rare car but it will be hard to get your money back on it, as you will obviously be putting more miles on it.I think you would love it, but your paying top dollar.I just saw a show quality MR2 Turbo with top dollar TRD and HKS upgrades bumper to bumper sell on craigslist.com for $4500.00, I tried to get it but it was gone buy the time I got there. If it is bone stock and you decide to do upgrades almost every penny you spend on it will be at a loss when you try to sell it. It is hard to get more than $13,000 for any MR2. I would say be patient and find a good MR2 Turbo for $5-$8k and enjoy it.If you buy the one your talking about, I would say $9,500,or you better love it, and never want to sell it or get your money back on it. Never buy one on ebay, people are paying double what you can get one for elsewhere!!

Good Luck...

Yeah... I like the car and I wanna drive a car I like. I know buying any car is a bad investment so I tend not to think about that too much, but if it's a fair deal, I'll be happy with it. Thanks guys!
