6'7" And Thinking of Buying 2nd Gen MR2

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a 1990-1993 MR2 and I was wondering if I would fit in it. I am 6'7" and 220lbs (very slim). Any tall owners out there?

Thanks,
Falcon6

I'm 6'2" and do OK, but don't have much room to spare with a stock set up. I think most replies would be "No way", but there are some ways I think you could possibly compensate. Mainly the seat could be modified to go back farther and sit lower. This would be a special fit with a very close to the floor slider. Perhaps buy a new seat with a thinner construction than the bulky stock seat. Also, possibly remove the small storage box behind the seat to allow for going back farther. A T-TOP model would allow more head room because of the thin glass giving more head room than a roof liner (and it's removable). Bottom line is, it's possible.
And, for special occasions you could always adjust it and sit high with your head above the roof line- remember that James Bond movie with the tall steel teeth guy... one of the funniest car scenes ever!
