bottom end?

I am currently in the middle of pulling the motor out or my 91 turbo and my origonal intent was to just replace all the seals and gaskets just do some minor mods but the more and more i look at this car the more i want to just go all out on it... My main question for you guys is how much power can the stock bottom end handel on a daily basis? and what rods and pistons do u guys reccomend besides cp pistons and eagle rods because thats the two im leaning toward as of right now... thanks alot for anyadvice it is greatly appreciated...

when i say going all out i mean more along the lines of fully building the block, head work, turbo kit, stand alone... I havnt really set myself a spending limit because this car isnt my daily driver and although i would like to get it done this week im not gonna rush the process so im kinda just taking my good old time... my hp goals i guess would be somewhere around 400... i currently have no mods done to my mr2 its bone stock and i just pulled the motor out so now its sitting in pieces...

Good luck with your project.
