2nd Generation steering wheel lock wont dis-engage!!

hay guys newbie here

just bought a 91 mr2 gen 2 about a month ago
now it was running brilliantly when i first bought it but in the last few days the steering wheel lock started to stick. i had to jiggle the keys a few times to get it off. but now it is on permanently and i cant turn the car on.

so heres what ive tried to do:
turn the wheel while jiggling the key
i got it started once when i compressed the clutch but it wont work again
i even sprayed WD40 in the ignition but hasnt helped

any advice would be good

remove the ignition cylinder or the steering wheel itself.

only way unless you wanna keep jiggling until it comes loose.

Not Recommended!!!!!

You can pretend to be a car jacker and pop the lock lol

Warning: Due to the extra strength you put in, you will experience muscle cramps........

push forward on the top of the steering wheel as hard as you can and turn the key multiple times until it catches, have done this on many an occasion
