86 moonroof and 87 moonroof

Hi,
I need a new moonroof for my 87 mr2.

I went to look at someone's 86 (he was parting it out). I took my bmw because my mr2 is undergoing repairs =/.

I thought the moonroof looked bigger than normal, the taillights looked different, and the e-brake was on the left side. I didnt take it because i didnt think it would fit.


I got home and looked at my mr2, and im thinking the moonroof could be the same size.

Anyone know for sure?

Its kind of a far drive, so i dont want to go drive out there again if it doesnt fit.
