swapping engine

I have a MR2 '86 non-turbo. Can I actually swap my car with a turbo engine with same year and model as mine? Not sure if these is possible. Please advice.

the 1st gen were supercharged not turbo.

you could do the "1.5" conversion....swap a 3sgte into your mk1...

seen that 3sgte motor and it looks cool. So swapping these in my MK1 is not a problem? Also what's a 1.5 conversion??? sorry newbie here.

they call it 1.5 because it is an mk1 with an mk2 motor.....
