Red-Top 4AGE

I'm looking into swapping a red-top 4AGE (My understanding is that this is the motor in the 90-92 Geo Prizm LSi trim or the 90-92 Toyota Corolla GTS trim) into my '87 MR2 (please correct me if I'm wrong about the motors).

I was wondering if there were any specific modifications that would need to be considered to do this. I have all of the engine and drivetrain components that came in the original 4AGE that came with the car, but the block is ruined.

Looking forward to the help, I'm sure I'll have more questions soon.

was in a prizm gsi..... the lsi's were special only in that they had painted bumpers, they still had a 4afe

you can run it on bigport electronics if you wish to go that way.... but there will be a "bump" in the power where the ecu expects to see a change when t-vis opens and it doesn't (because the smallport doesn't have it)

Ok, I got it. I'm looking for a motor and ecu now, does anyone know of any engine supplier?
