I have a JL 8" Microsub in my car. You buy the whole thing which includes a half-moon shaped box and the 8" sub. It fits perfectly behind the seat and provides enough bass for me.

just wondering, do you have the dimensions of the enclosure? im trying to figure out if i can modify an enclosure that fits the car, so to maximize the internal volume. cause i really want to run the JL Audio W6 in the 10" size. id go bigger but can't, so hopefully with two of them i can get that BRAIN RATTLING bass that I love. I know running the 8" subs will save me a whole lot of trouble, but im basically immune to bass under 250 watts!

Try going to the JL Audio website. I'm pretty sure you can fit the 10's in a box behind the seat. Go to the MR2 message board and check under the group buy section for a post by mr2mch (or somthing like that). He builds boxes for the MR2.

if u want a good loud bass go with the kicker l7 10 inch woofer they sound louder than a round 12 inch sub and need little room to work

I saw "DFRs" car last year behind Kennedy Commons, I tapped on his window and I asked him if he was "DFR" and he confirmed it.

It was raining unfortunatley, He was with a few buddies I guess, one had I believe either a 240sx or Sylvia with the license plate "J SPEC".

By what I saw looked good!
