I haven't actually bought one yet, but when I buy one for my car, I plan to get the TwosRus one:

If you get it, let me know what you think.

TRD.. Though there is not alot to them. Some of the other brands will not fit the standard Toyota shift knobs. you may have to find an adapter to fit whatever shifter knob you're using.

i bought a trd one. notchy and not very direct. i have driven MUCH better short-shifters. if i had to do it again, i may try the twosrus route or look for a used b&m.

I had a fidanza short throw in my del sol, I liked it a lot. I know this doesn't relate, but the shift knob actually sat a little higher than stock, but the throw was shorter, since the linkage connected further below the rotation point. physically shorter shift levers is worse than stock IMO.

I noticed a big improvement with the TRD. It's the only one I've used, so I can't compare, but I love my TRD.

yeah b&m shifter sits the lowest, but just go with whichever you prefer.

I prefer the TRD. I've also used the 93 OEM shifter which is shorter than the 91s.
