i notice i have a bit of a turbo lag situation with my 91t. i just got the car from an old buddy of mine and i rebuilt the motor and put a greddy td06 turbo on it. well, it feels really non-responsive before 4.5 rpm. i'v never driven a stock mr2 before so i dont know if this is normal or not??? from what i read, i thought the spool up time is about the same between the c-26 and the td06. i do still have the stock exhaust on but the td06 downpipe eliminates the first cat so i wouldn't think the stock exhaust would be that restrictive... or would it be??? any opinions???

i have a td05 and I start spooling around 3300 rpm or so. Could be your stock exhaust, from my understanding it's pretty restrictive. Check out www.mr2oc.com for info, that would be the best site for any info

i hit full boost around 3500 rpm on my t3/t4...slight lag but bearable...
