toyota dealerships
Ok, took the mr2 to the dealership. They replaced the timing belt, water pump and pulleys for 350$ which isn't bad. They called me later and told me that one cv boots is cracked and the other is about too. 700 hundred dollars to replace. Looked online for parts, 16 dollars for boots. So I assume labor is a bitch. Unless you have to drop the motor and trans to replace them, no way I am paying 700 dollars. Has anyone done themselves and can verify that or am I getting ripped off because I got a deal on the rest?
thanks.
