Supercharger 2nd generation?

I havent seen any superchargers for the mr2 2nd generation, but could you use another type of cars supercharger instead?

There is a company that makes a supercharger for the MR2. I suppose you could modify a supercharger from another engine with enough know how, fabrication and money. But you can make much more power with a turbo set up much more easily and cheaply with less headache..

The cost to properly supercharge the MKII far exceed the costs of turbocharging,
so there is nearly no options for doing this. I've only heard of one company that was trying to make a kit and it was several thousand dollars.

If you prefer supercharged power, and for that kind of money, you might look into some of hte popular V6 swaps with Toyota engines that have SC options already.
