need a bit of help with.. clutch pedal?

ok. got a clutch pedal in the mail. got all the parts for the manual conversion actually. but I'm just curious about the clutch pedal. it seems way too stiff. it either wants to be all the way depressed or all the way extended. it sort of "snaps" to either position. I've come to the conclusion that this is because of the spring assembly as shown in the pics below. can someone with a manual mr2 look under their dash and tell me if your pedal has this spring assembly? if so I'm just gonna install as is and hope something creates enought pressure in the other direction to couter it...

oh btw anyone know how the two front hard lines for the clutch hydrolics are routed? maybe a diagram or something would help. I have a general idea...

The pedal will stick in both positions until you get it completely installed all the way to the brake cylinders with fluid in the reservoir and the system is bled.

like MR2bad said you need the whole system hooked up first. there isnt the right amount of pressure anywhere on that pedal that is why it is sticking like that. the spring is going to be the right rate that you need but until you get it all hooked up it wont seem right at all.

The clutch lines i bet if you go down to your local toyota dealer they will print that off for you i did that for a couple of wiring diagrams. i dont think that it will be a problem at all they are typically nice about it.

ok thanks!! I work almost the exact hours the toyota dealership is open (parts sections anyway) so I was just wondering if anyone had access to the diagram. I'll try the dealership i guess. the clutch pedal just seemed wierd because the brake pedal wasn't like that.
