The leather on my steering wheel (mk1 '88) is in bad condition. i tried painting it last year and it looked good for about 6mos, but now it looks worse that ever. I have been considering a Wheelskin cover but I'm wondoring what others have done, any suggestions?

i had the same problem on my mk2. the rubber was also cracking. i bought a cover b/c it was cheaper. and afterwards? well its def noticeable that it was done. i already have a replacement wheel bought.

Keck03 how much and where did you get the wheel from becuase mine is shot to heck from the FL sun and was wondering what it was going to cost me if its better just to do a hub and new wheel from sparco or the OEM
