Question MKII - Water Valve Hose?

Okay... I know this is not a big deal. I've seen it in other people's frunks. And this could possibly be the stupid question of the century. But, it's driving me crazy not knowing. I looked it up in the BGB. The only reference I can find is the water valve which it is connected too. So, maybe this is for draining?

Here's a pic... see the coiled up piece of clear hose. Notice there is more than one piece in there? What the !@#$ is that for?

Here's a close-up... it's all kinked up. Look at it... it's just taunting me. Damn you hose!

Please help me sleep at night... I need help!

Those clear hoses are used to bleed air out of the cooling system. 1 for the heater control valve (pictured), and 1 for the radiator. Since you have a BGB, look in the section where it shows you the procedure to bleed the cooling system. If it bothers you that much, just remove it from your car and store it somewhere else.

Also, you can alleviate some of the overcrowding on your battery top post by re-routing some of the wires to the side post. And your A/C is low on refrigerant (j/k.)

I figured it had something to do with that. I'll look in the BGB again for that specifically. i thought I looked that section over pretty good. I must have missed it. Thanks for clearing it up. Really it doesn't bother me that much. I just thought it was strange they left the tubing in there.

What do you mean "overcrowding"... It's perfectly crowded. LOL I like the way it is... I can easily disconnect the battery in a matter of seconds now. But, if I add one more thing to it... I'll have to do what you said.
