Hello fellow Mr2 owners! So I recently purchased my first MR2 and its been a relatively rough start, but I'm gonna tough it out and start building it into a track/street car. I purchased the car two days ago with a frozen alternator. I replaced the alternator only to find out that the water pump gasket had completely failed and steam/water was shooting out from it. So i will be replacing that next and I REALLY hope that the head gasket is ok. We'll see.
So, after I get it running healthy, next comes paint, suspension, and THEN, engine mods. I have always been fond of lightweight, high revving, good handling cars and the MR2 fit the bill perfectly. Ergo, here I am about to start my journey. In the past I built and raced several BMW 2002's, a Miata, an E30 318is, and a couple AE86's. Ok enough said, onto the pics:
She's very dirty at the moment, but that will change very soon I'm thinking maybe charcoal, black, or white paint job...(excuse the crappy cell phone pic):
