Is there some kinda trick to getting a new timing belt over all the pulley's ?

No one here has replaced their own timing belt ?

Typically I put the belt over all the toothed pulleys (crank pulley first, cam pulleys last) and then slide the belt over the smooth adjusting idler pulley. I replace the idler pulley/bearing while I'm in there. With the idler pulley loose it allows for slipping the belt over the edge. Then snug it down, make sure the belt is all the way on the pulley, tension it and tighten it.

Just finished replacing the head bolts w/ studs last week. Slip the belt last on the Idler pulley (as previously mentioned) make sure cam & crank timing marks line up before pulling the grenade pin on the hydro tensioner.
