overboosting

i have a problem with my mr2 3sgte. after reseting the ecu it works for 4 or 5 min. after it show flash code 34"overboost".what could be?

only way to "reset" is to have it reflashed w/ the stock software.

if your overboosting either your boost sensor is malfuctioning or your wastegate is...

No I haven't.. But then I have never had to reset my ECU.
Actually, I was wondering WHY the ECU had to be reset in the 1st place. guess I could have been clearer...

there is no reason... its OBDI... codes erase themselves when they are fixed.

To reset the ecu, you can pull the 15amp fuse for your EFI in the engine bay fuse box, pull for about 10 seconds.
It could be a few different things causing this, mine has pulled that before, I got a new ECU and it went away.
