First, I'd like to say that I'm new here. About 6 weeks ago a bought a 01 Mr2 Spider. Now I'm trying to figure something out. Off coarse I knew I was buying a Toyota MR2, and maybe this is why I didn't notice that nowhere on the car body are the words "Toyota" or "MR2". I have a "Midship Runabout" badge on the front of the car, as well as the center of the steering wheel, and a TRD badge on the left side of the engine cover.

I've tried looking on the internet and I have found the Midship badge, but knew explanation to what it is about.

Can someone shed some light as to what this is all about. I suspect someone removed the origenal badgeing.

You are correct. Someone has removed the OEM badging and put different ones. Midship just refers to the Mid engine design
Those badges are prolly from Ebay.
