Total newbie wanting an MR2??

Hi guys,

i am looking to buy an MR2 and having thoughts on getting a spyder for its looks, i saw one recently here but is missing its passenger side headlight and has a cracked windshield due to shipping from Guam ( i live here in the Philippines) it is a 2001 black spyder everything else looks ok.

Any advise on what should i look or check prior to purchase:
i have never owned an Mr2 I am really more like a 4x4 guy, my experience with toyota is only with my 2 rav 4s (i still have a 3 dr rav)
Also where do i get these missing parts in case i proceed with this purchase (these parts are not available locally)

Any inputs would be much apreciated.
