2nd Generation NGK Ignition Wires

I have a 92 MR2 and i'm in the process of doing a tune up.Well i went some NGK wires but when i ask for them the guy asked me when teh car was made.Well my car was made in 08/91 but in the title it's a 92.Well they have 2 different sets one for before 01/92 and one before.Well ig ot the before and they are the same exceot i noticed it didnt bring the coil wire?Does anybody know the difference or y its like this or does the coil wire really not affect anything?

ANY set should come with the coil wire. Prolly a mistake in packaging...
Unless you're running mad HP, the OEM wires are just as good and alot cheaper than NGK's.

even with mad horsepower regular wires are fine. Don't pay for pricey ones just get the average wire.

2 years ago i bought a set of NGKs off sparkplugs.com b/c they were cheaper than oem. this year i bought oem wires. the oem ones actually look beefier and the engine *feels* more responsive. could just be the placebo effect.

or could be toyota had some kinda clue wha they were doing when they designed the car.

they put the best ignition system on the car... the stock setup for fuel and ignition are capable of so much more than your average tuner will ever understand
