x-runner vs. mr2

i currently owen a 2006 toyota x-runner and i have the oppurtinity to trade mty truck for a 2001 mr2 spyder with quit a few mods. plus he is giving me 6 grand. i was just going to ask some current owners if they feel the trasde sounds like a good idea. i love my truck but the car looks and handles amazing!

I wouldn't do it. You could pickup an MRS for less than 10k.... your truck is worth quite a bit more... even with the extra 6k. Modifications generally don't make that big of a difference on the cars value.... only the owners thoughts of the cars value. Plus it is hard to know the history of the car.... who knows if anything was half assed.

Put it this way--I wouldn't trade my '95 Tacoma 4x4 for any MR2. The 2 vehicles have totally different purposes. If for some reason , I could only keep 1 of my 3 vehicles, I would keep my Tacoma and give up both MR2's. But it would suck ass!
