Hey I got a 92 MR2 N/A, just a few questions

Hey all this is my first post,

I was wondering first of all, I just bought a headunit for my car a kenwood kdc-422, I want to know if the universal installation kit best-buy and crutchfield has will work for the mr2.

Second I was wondering what upgrades can I do to a N/A 92 mr2, seems like every damn peformance upgrade for turbo's and I got the car free so I cant be too stingy about it not being turbo but I was wondering what upgrades I can do to it ne way.

since u got the car for free....all that money u WOULD have spent on buying a car....could go towards doing a 3SGTE swap....then u'll have some power in ur N/A....

It would be nice but I'm not gonna do all that to the car, just a few upgrades like intake and mufflers not exhaust, and im gettin a system that about it.

but if u know a place to buy cheap mufflers, i need 2, would help and if u know how to put them on.

two mufflers??....are u making a custom dual exhaust setup for ur n/a???....

umm... i guess.... theres 2 pipes coming out after the stock muffler... I have some friends that have been thinking i can cut the stock muffler off, make the pipes come back together and put mufflers on the two stock pipes on each side... idk how it will work but thats what my plans are.

the stock muffler is a single entry....dual exit tips....if ur on a budget....i think what u want to do is gonna be pricey...cuz u'll have to get a muffler shop to custom make u piping....(ie...from the header/cats back...u'll have to make a "y" pipe n then get custom piping to run to each muffler on either side)...are u doing this for looks or for performance gains???.....i'm not too familiar with exhaust setups for N/A's but i'm sure u can find one that would be cheaper then going with custom piping....
i know from first hand experience b/c i've had to redo my exhaust also.....i scrapped all the piping that hks sent and had my tuner make me a custom 3" downpipe n 3" piping all the way to the Y before the mufflers....thats the only piece that is still hks- the dual mufflers n tips.....n this was not cheape by any means...but now i have a full 3" exhaust sytem.....

i c, i was hoping to get some universal mufflers off of e-bay and just put them right on the pipes, lol, prolly wouldnt be good... no im not going for a hp gain or ne thing just want it to sound nice, i was gonna get some intake after that to make it sound mean... so i wasnt lookin to spend over like 150, cause im buying a system for 500, and insurance for a year is 1200, so i got about 500 left once i cash bonds to spend on w/e..thats why im tight on money.
