Body work question

I have an 87 mkl that i would like to fix up but it has damage to the front drivers side quarter panel. I wanted to know does replacing a quarter panel involve welding or is a nuts and bolts type of thing i could do myslelf?

If it is just the body portion.... no frame damage.... everything will bolt on/off.

How do you know if there is frame damage? Will the cars alignment be off? I think its just the panel cuz it drives fine. Thanks again for all your help.

unless you know what to look for you can't really see frame damage unless its dead obvious.

secondly... the front panel is called the fender and rear is the quarter panel. there is no front quarter.

front is an easy fix... bolt off, bolt on like he said... rear... probably would recommend professional work. whether its a pull and fill... or cut and weld... prolly needs some skilled attention

I have a pair of front fenders from a 1989 MR2. They are bolt on, just keep your spacers in check. I traded the car over a year ago. Let me know if you want to buy them.
