hey tn'ers i was just wondering if u could help me out on figuring out a decent price for a 1993 Mr2, 2200, standard, 245 000km or for you americans 152243 miles on it, pw, power locks, tape deck, t top

the body is in alright shape, the paint is a realllly faded red.

what would you pay for it? (please put CAD or USD next to your price so i will understand)

i'm assuming that ur talking bout a 93 n/a???.....for one with high kms...okay condition body...i would not pay more the 8-10gs CAD for it...just because its a 93....if it was a 91-92.....less then that....i think that for a bit more..u can find urself a decent 91 turbo......

wouldnt it be wiser to buy a n/a, save money on the buying cost, drop a 3sgte in, and save on insurance and total cost of car+engine?
just an idea

Oh and MrQ, when i'll have mine in spring or early summer, we'll have to meet and spank everything on the road!Steakhouse and beer?

its so much easier to start with a turbo in the first place....doing a swap is time consuming n not all that much cheaper either.....the only thing u may save in the long run is in insurance money...

mr2freak....sounds like a plan....i do visit montreal each summer to visit family and to party.....but never in the mr2 yet.....but if ur ever in TO.....gimme a shout.....

Cool

late spring , early summer then, you'll be the first one to see it!
Guess it means I'll have to do a few "hundred" km in it then
