Gen1 Straight-pipe Exhaust

Hey guys
Ive got a stock exhaust system on my AW11 and I now have enough $ to buy a nice muffler. I'm wondering how much a shop would normally charge to put in new straight-pipe. What size of piping should i go with? How much horsepower will it add? and will it sound just like all those other civics that u see everywhere, or does it have its own unique sound?

Thanks

Gen1

Did you buy the "2 Megan GT Exaust" off the net? Would it fit a MK1?

straight pipes you prolly loose power because of the backpressure.

turbos tend to perform better w/o the restriction.......................

N/A... 2.5 inch pipe w/ a 3 inch outlet is your best bet unless your putting up race numbers....
