T Top leaks

Hi,this is my first post here. My "89 NA has th dread leaky t -tops. How do I get the headliner off to access the middle brace to tighten that area down? I have the Big Green Manual, but really do not want to rip my headliner out and not get in again!
Thanks.

You have to remove

-visor's (1 screw each)
-visor hooks (1 screw each)
-Rear view mirror (2 screws)
-Dome light (2 screws)
-Rear window trim on both sides ~ B & C Pillar trim (3 screws and seatbelt)
-Rear window upper trim (3-4 screws)

Finally you have to pill down on the edges and center of the headliner until it pops down....its held in by clips.

hope that helps.
