1986 mr2

i need some information and help with my 86' mr2.
i need to fix the ignition parts(where u put in the key)it has all been stripped around the steering wheel(under) and all the wiring is hangin out.
i need to know if anyone knows the names of those specific parts or where to get them.
i also need help installing them if possible.
are the key ignition parts interchangable on toyotas?
can i put the piece where i put in the key on my celica into my mr2?
will the wire up correctly?
please im new to mr2's and if i cant fix this problem im not going to buy this mr2(200$) wich i know is a good price.
please help.....................
