Question about subs

In my 92 MR2 I wanted to put two 12's (MTX Blue Thunders) with 800 watt amp. I wanted to know if I should go a ahead and put them in the trunk because I am buying them in a enclosed see through box (looks cool), but I dont want to put it into the trunk if I wont hear a damn thing...so If ne has ne idea if theres still alot of bass with the subs in the trunk than let me know...if not and I need to take the subs out of the box and put them behind my seats, where can I get boxes that will fit...these mr2's are small.

Thanx

u do currently own an mr2 right??....if u put the box in ur trunk..all ur gonna hear is ur trunk rattling.....
since the mr2 has such a small seating area....u'll be surprised how much bass one 8" or one 10" sub will sound...there are a few custom made boxes available..but u'll have to go look on the main mr2 board...i'll try to find u an email add when i get home from work.....

i kind of wanted to go with 12's cause my friend selling them too me and I was helping him out with getting money and plus I'm gettin some decent 12" subs out of it.... Yeah I think I'm gonna put it in the trunk at first to test it out and than I'll have to take it out of the box, which is going to suck, its closed and see through. Oh and yes I have the MR2, its in my driveway. If you get that e-mail it would be great for customs box for 2 12's...thanx

like i said earlier......all ur gonna hear is ur trunk rattling...theres no way the bass will eminate through ur trunk.....through the engine...if u get what i'm saying.....also..are u sure u can even fit that box in the trunk in the first place???....

if u go on the main mr2 board....do a search under mr2much.....he's the one that designs custom made 8" and 10" sub enclosures for mr2s....i dont think he makes any 12'' ones...there simply just isn't enough room in our cars for them....

I measured out behind the seats and there seems to be plenty of room..8 1/2 inches for the bottom of a truck box for a 12's so I am going to defenetly do that. But where to put the amp....
