Lightbulb whoa!! tough job need some wisdom

okay so i was just wondering can u put a 3sgte head on a mr2 5sfe block and run it fine with 3sgte cams and everything? if its possible would that be an up or down hmmmm.

Yep... can be done. It is generally referred to as a 5SGTE. Quite a few of the MR2 guys and one of the Camry guys (that I can think of) on here have built some pretty nice 5SGTE's. I personally don't feel that there is anything you can do with a 5s block that you can't do with a 3s. Stroker kits are widely available if you want the extra displacement.

i thought so but since i have racing headers on my 5sfe mr2 would it still fit if i changed it to 3sgte head..im basically looking for a higher redline and still have power to that point cuz 5sfe usaully drops power after 5000rpm

If you are planning on keeping in NA.... you might want to look into 3SGE heads instead. Headers will not bolt up to a 3sgte.... I assumed you wanted to go turbo.
