Try bleeding the heater core. If there is air in there, it will not give you heat. There is a big white plastic screw to do this.

the heater core is located behind the dash but the heater air drain plug is located in the frunk bay on the back wall. Here is a picture from the manual showing the location

Are you saying that previously you weren't getting any moving air from the system?
Also, did you have the engine running when you bled the core?

Well,if your fan is working and if you can get some heat and then not, maybe the core is clogged and hot water is not flowing thru it like it should . Another possibilty is the control that opens the valve in the heater core may not be working right. Linkage could be apart or stuck. Try operating it by hand and see if it moves.

For some reason, hot water is not flowing thru your heater core. Whether it's because it's not properly bled, a blockage or somethings wrong the valve that manages either cold or hot air flow .
